Going Nowhere

A wild beach for a wet Wednesday.

We're miles from the sea here in my part of the UK but this is the kind of place I imagine when I need to clear my head. We can't always find time in a busy day for a walk, run or drive to some magical place but we can imagine we're there. This is a place where I could be lost in the moment with no need for TV or other technology. A place to just be. Wednesday, the middle of the week what better day to reconnect with your nowhere place and remind yourself to just be?

For more inspiration on Nowhere moments see this Howies blog post here.

A peaceful middle of the week to you all.

  1. You're right, there is a certain magic to the sea and a deserted beach I think. What an amazing photo. Hope you found some peace and stillness.

  2. What a photo. I'm always at my best at the beach.

  3. I love the sky! Have a lovely rest of the week.

  4. WOW. Did you take that photo, Claire? It's like a Turner oil painting--stunning and so dramatic! I'm going to post this to my blog's Facebook page immediately--really inspiring post and pic. Thank you!

  5. Living down the road from you, I know exactly what you mean and I am a bit obsessed by the sea. a few weeks ago, I drove to Cornwall by myself and stayed in a very simple, vegan retreat. It was heaven. On my last day, before I drove home, I walked across the fields to a tiny beach and sat on the sea wall in front of a scene very like your picture. I am going o feast on this memory all winter until we can go to the sea next Spring.

  6. I really appreciate having the sea on my doorstep and find solace down by the waters edge.
