Here are 20 simple swaps I've made recently. They all add enjoyment to my days whether it's because they give me health benefits, more time, happier relationships or stop me consuming so much.

It's a list I might add to and share again. What's on your list?

Thank you so much for all your kind messages. I'm so pleased to have this time with my Dad right now - simplifying my life has allowed me this precious time. I'm reading Walden by Henry David Thoreau in between visiting hours - it's great company. Have a good week xo

  1. Wonderful swaps....I can agree with all except the natural silver highlights! You won't ever regret this time with your dad, your mindfulness and presence will be its own reward.
I'd love to know what you think of Walden when you have finished reading it, I wholeheartedly embraced the sentiment but wished the writing style of Thoreau's era was, ironically....simpler.

  2. Hey Claire,
Umpteen cups of builder's tea swapped for water and Pukka Vanilla Chai. And number 14 on your list is a must here lately.
    Leanne xx

  3. What a great list! Love it, Claire!

  4. Lovely list! I have swapped diet soda for water - never thought I could do it, but I am loving it. And I've swapped highlighting my hair for my natural color.

  5. Hope your Dad is doing better Claire and I'm glad you are finding Henry to be good company. The conclusion of Walden is something I read regularly.
Your list contains many things I do or am trying to do and I would add swapping many cups of coffee a day for one or two at the most and unlimited cups of hot water which I have always loved and enjoyed just as much.

  6. This list makes me feel cozy! I just recently discovered your blog and LOVE your heartfelt writing.

  7. That's an excellent list of swaps. Lots of small changes, always the best way. I can't abide "diet" or sugar free anything and would rather I - and the kids - had sugar. Or water. xx

  8. Amazing blog and very interesting stuff you got here! I definitely learned a lot from reading through some of your earlier posts as well and decided to drop a comment on this one!

Thanks for reading and leaving your comments. Keep in touch xo
