Snowdrop Scavenging
I blinked and six weeks passed.
It's good to be back: to my blog, to nature and my beloved DSLR. You could miss moments like these - but with a desire to solicit snowdrops, sunshine and shuffle in my Christmas wellies, I found what I was looking for. As I walked, I felt my vitamin D levels being restored, along with some balance and plans for spring and beyond. No need for excessive scavenging: it's all simply in front of me if only I open my eyes.
I hope you're well friends. There may be more posts this week as it's half-term here xo

Just a Simple Sunday
My day started with a walk to explore the frosty landscape. The birds were chattering away but wouldn't oblige me with a photo.

Keeping Sunday Simple: My Little Teapot
Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on.Billy Connolly
My beloved 25 year old plus teapot from my student days now rather trendy in its cosy. It was made for Sundays.
I've managed to keep this Sunday fairly simple. We had family to lunch and shared a ginormous home made shepherd's pie. I use Gordon Ramsay's shepherd's pie recipe. With the added egg yolks and parmesan the mash is divine. And there's a portion left over.

Keeping Sunday Simple: November
What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness.John Steinbeck
Taking some time to stop, stare and enjoy the changing season:
Azure skies showcase bare branches ablaze with berries.
Have you managed to keep your Sunday simple?
Enjoy the rest of the weekend xo

Keeping Sunday Simple
SUNDAYS ARE SPECIAL AND PRECIOUS in our household.
Hmmm ... (said Hubby - or words to that effect). However, they can easily fill up with left over tasks from the week and that is what happened this morning. I will endeavour to put that right over the next few weeks. Maybe, then I will get tea and toast in bed and time to read my book.
Did you manage to keep your Sunday simple?
Oh, talking of simple do you like the new header? The owl has been retained as it was drawn by my 13 year old boy. I LOVE it.
