Giveaway: Act Accordingly

Hi there. Don't you just love this groovy photo of Colin Wright?

It's been a complete honour to work with Colin and Asymmetric Press this week. My final instalment is a digital giveaway of his book Act Accordingly which was recently published on June 25th. Read my interview and review here if you missed it.

A concise book (I've read it several times already) it's destined for one of you lovely readers. I'm sure it'll be a wonderful inspiration to realising your goals and finding renewed focus whether you're interested in minimalism or looking for redirection in your life.

The giveaway is worldwide and the lucky winner can choose from a Kindle, ePub or PDF version of the book. The winner will be announced next Thursday 18th July.

So, please leave a comment below if you'd like to enter the giveaway and if you're up for answering a question then that would make for some wonderful reading.

In my interview I asked Colin the question, What's your most valued possession?

So... What's yours?

Mine is free time to spend with family and friends (non-materialistic) and my camera (materialistic).

I can't wait to hear from you xo

  1. I would love to read the book! My most valuable non-materistic possession is the time I got to spend with my grannie before she passed away, I learnt so many skills and had such good coversations with her. The most valuable materia is probably my laptop as it is (unfortunately) more or less the centre of my every day life.

  2. I would love to read this book.

My most valued possessions - my health and the people I love.

After losing my lovely Mum in Law and my beloved Dad within 6 months of each other last year it really brings it home to you that if you have your health and those you love in your life you have everything.

Possessions are just stuff, some necessary, some superfluous and they come and go, the real things to care about are people.

  3. I'd love to win this!

My favourite possessions are a) my children and b) my yellow campervan, which brings our family freedom, fun and many happy memories.

  4. It's been amazing to see a UK blogger nab an interview with one of the three minimalists! I'm star-struck-by-proxy!!

I would love to win this book. It sounds like it has a brilliant message, one that I agree with and would like inspiration and help with.

My non-material possession would be space. Space in any form, outside, inside, within my head, on a yoga mat.

Material possession is I think my laptop, but it's a very even 1st with my new camera (I think we have the same one!) I just love it. Writing and photography are my two passions.

Thanks for hosting such an awesome giveaway.

  6. What a great giveaway Claire and I would like to go into the draw!
Valued possession in non-materialistic terms would be a three way tie (sorry!) between family, pets and health but for materialistic I would say my Kindle which has all my favourite books on it. "Act Accordingly" would be a very welcome addition :)

  7. Hi Claire and thank you for introducing me to Colin Wright! I've just spent some time reading through his blog and a few of his online books - really seriously food for thought. I'd love to read more so please enter me for your giveaway. My answer to your question? As much as I appreciate having creative space in the gardens here and a laptop to write about it on, I could walk away from all of this without a backward glance. The one thing I could not leave behind is family (although at times it's tempting!!): my teenage son, my siblings, cousins and, while I have them, my beloved parents. My garden comes a close second ;)

  9. I enter so very few giveaways because I don't want the chance to acquire something I don't really need or want. But I'd love to read this book! Non-materialistic is time with my loved ones and good health to walk for hours (with a loved one of course). Materialistic is either my camera for the love of capturing beauty and celebrating what sight I have, or my wedding rings because of the love they represent.

  10. I would love to read this book too. My non-materialistic possession is my lovely family and miniature schnauzer. Materialistic is my library card which allows me free access to a multitude of books.
