Simple Storage: The Downstairs Loo
Just a quick tour of our downstairs loo. Spacious as these rooms go and quite a stark space it needed a bit of character. We've reinvented a Benno CD tower as open shelving in one corner, added a fishing basket which holds a lot of loo rolls and put my letterpress tray on the wall. There's a few quirky extras which don't serve any purpose but which I quite like and don't seem to make the space seem cluttered.
But where are the books? Just kidding...
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely gorgeous. I need that sign too :-)

Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou've just got to love those printers trays! I love seeing what people pop in them! :) x
ReplyDeleteLooking good! x
ReplyDeleteHa, we have Benno in the bathroom, too! I have to keep weeding it to keep people's stuff under control but it gives a very white room some definition and height (and match the beams in the ceiling!).
ReplyDeleteHowever, I can't seem to keep the books out of the bathroom, so I have given up and allow a few on the bottom shelf...!
Your loo is a great quiet space :)
Love the letterpress tray too, have always quite wanted one of those but fear it would trap my dust far quicker than I am able to get around to cleaning it. Maybe one day. !
ReplyDeleteMinimal with just the right amount of personality!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Good use of a Benno too :)
ReplyDeletea very simple space, you can just meditate on the loo rolls! like the seagul! Heather x
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet room! I love the reading room sign, where did you get it? Off to find inspiration from the rest of your blog x
