Simple Storage: The Downstairs Loo

Just a quick tour of our downstairs loo. Spacious as these rooms go and quite a stark space it needed a bit of character. We've reinvented a Benno CD tower as open shelving in one corner, added a fishing basket which holds a lot of loo rolls and put my letterpress tray on the wall. There's a few quirky extras which don't serve any purpose but which I quite like and don't seem to make the space seem cluttered.

  4. Ha, we have Benno in the bathroom, too! I have to keep weeding it to keep people's stuff under control but it gives a very white room some definition and height (and match the beams in the ceiling!).
However, I can't seem to keep the books out of the bathroom, so I have given up and allow a few on the bottom shelf...!
Your loo is a great quiet space :)

  5. Love the letterpress tray too, have always quite wanted one of those but fear it would trap my dust far quicker than I am able to get around to cleaning it. Maybe one day. !
